Blue Square Art Competition

About the Blue Square Art Competition:

Entries must be an original work by you and have been created within the last 12 months.

From every artist entry fee, a portion is donated to help CanAssist Southern Highlands support people living with cancer. By entering this competition you are making a positive difference in the life of a cancer sufferer. We like CanAssist as the local branch takes zero administration costs.

We believe one person can make a difference. – Every person is as unique as their artworks. We believe that everyone matters so we hang every artwork that meets the entry requirements.

Together we are greater than one person alone. We like to display this concept by creating an art installation with the many entries.

The competition is open for entries from anyone – this event is all about inclusivity! You may be a beginner or experienced in artmaking – all are welcome. This competition is inclusive of all and any media: painting, photography, digital prints, multimedia, drawings. The competition is inclusive of all ages.

There is a $2,000 prize for the winner. An independent judge from the Arts Community is appointed each year to select a winner.
